چکیده

Abstract Magnetic properties and microstructure of high-energy (Nd,Dy)–Fe–B magnets with Dy no more than 1 wt % prepared via a low-oxygen routine are studied. Oxygen content in does not exceed 0.20 %. 0.5 %–Dy addition reliably stabilizes the coercivity M H c higher 13 kOe; this case, maximum energy density product ( BH ) max is 48.5–49.5 MG Oe. High magnetic hysteresis gained optimization chemical phase compositions magnets, as well their microstructure. The grain size main Nd 2 Fe 14 B approximately 3.5 ?m; according to X-ray analysis, weight fraction additional Nd-rich phases (NdO x O 3 2.5%. Scanning electron microscopy study has demonstrated that triple junctions grains there two types inclusions (? ?) NdO phase, which significantly differ by composition. ?-phase low oxygen ? ? 0.03) enriched (40–50 %); whereas, ?-phase high 0.70) contains 3–5 times less Fe. angular dependences presented.

CFD Modeling Study of High Temperature and Low Oxygen Content Exhaust Gases Combustion Furnaces

This paper reports a CFD modeling study on the possibility of using high temperature and low oxygen content exhaust gases as oxidant for combustion in an industrial furnace by a written computer program. Under these conditions, the predicted results for the flow and heat transfer properties are compared with those under the several cases of conventional and highly preheated...

INFLUENCE OF NANO SILICA ON PROPERTIES AND MICROSTRUCTURE OF HIGH ALUMINA ULTRA-LOW CEMENT REFRACTORY CASTABLES

Colloidal silica bonded refractory castables have been developed recently. It was found that colloidal silica is one of the best binders can substitute other binders such as cement in No Cement Castable (NCC) and Ultra Low Cement Castable (ULCC) refractories. Also composition of colloidal silica with appropriate additives resulted in a gel form which makes the initial strength. Moreover, the na...

Effect or Inoculation on Microstructure and Properties of Low C-Mn and Low Alloy Steels

Effect of the addition of various inoculants on the morphology and mechanical properties of low C-Mn and low alloy steel samples is studied by thermal and mechanical processing of the samples after solidification. According to the results obtained from metallographic studies with the electron microscope and microanalysis with x-rays, the distribution of inoculating agents in the steel matrix is...
